Moon Jong Up(문종업) CONCEPT FILM : US

A mood film previewing the aesthetic and feel of his first solo album release outside of K-pop group B.A.P. The role of video editing and marketing assistant expanded into a full solo production: no dedicated crew, a single Sony mirrorless camera, filming, creative directing, producing, and editing. Every shot had to be pre-visualized and executed alone, leaving no room for missed angles or on-the-fly fixes. Rather than fighting the limitations, they were leaned into using available light to craft a moodier, more intimate aesthetic that felt intentional rather than sparse. The artsy, editorial tone of the final film wasn't despite the minimal setup; in many ways, it was because of it.
