For Krush, an Asian dating app startup based in New York City, the challenge began before the camera even rolled. The brand was throwing singles only parties but had no real insider content to show for it, nothing that gave their audience a genuine look at what was actually happening inside those events. Recognizing that gap, I recommended producing a video that brought viewers into the room and captured the energy of the experience from the inside out. That suggestion became the foundation of the project.

A promotional video was produced to capture the bold, energetic spirit of the brand. Shooting a mix of real people alongside in-app footage added an additional layer of complexity, requiring both a natural eye for directing talent and a precise hand in capturing the product itself. The lighting constraints demanded resourcefulness, working with what was available to keep the visuals feeling dynamic and intentional rather than flat. Despite the stripped-down setup, the final product delivered a cohesive, high-energy promo that gave Krush exactly what it had been missing, a real and compelling window into what their events actually felt like to be a part of.
